Tap is all about rhythm, confidence, and making music with your feet.With each shuffle and stomp, your child will explore musicality, timing, and coordination in a way that feels exciting and empowering. Tap encourages focus and creativity, while helping students develop a strong sense of rhythm and precision.
Classes are upbeat and joyful, giving dancers the chance to express themselves through sound and movement—building not only technique, but a deep connection to music and their own sense of style.

Wednesday 4pm - 4.45pm
Saturday 9.30am - 10.15am

Ages 7-10
Monday 5.30pm - 6.00pm
$145 per term
Ages 10 and up
Thursday 6.45pm - 7.30pm

How do I know if this class is right for my child?
If your child loves music, enjoys making sounds with their feet, and has an interest in rhythm and timing, tap might be a great fit! It's perfect for kids who like to explore creating beats and patterns with their steps.
Is there a dress code for classes?
For tap class we recommend a leotard or comfortable dance wear to allow ease of movement.
Do you offer concerts or performances?
Yes, we host an exciting end-of-year concert where all students can showcase what they've learned. A digital download of your child's end-of-year performance, is our gift for you to cherish and share with family and friends for years to come.
What happens if my child misses a class?
Makeup classes are available , and you can contact the studio to arrange a convenient time.
What age group do you offer Tap classes for?
We offer tap classes from ages 4 and up. Ages 4-6yrs enjoy tap as part of our Discover Dance combo classes (Please visit our Discover Dance page) Ages 7 and up are able to participate in specialised tap classes.
