For dancers who love to perform and want to experience the excitement of the stage while growing in confidence and connection, Encore’s Performance Pathway offers two beautiful opportunities, Heartbeats and the Performance Company.
Both companies give students the chance to share their love of dance through community performances and our annual Applause for a Cause fundraising showcase, using their talents to give back and bring joy to others.
Participation in either company is in addition to regular weekly classes, allowing dancers to continue developing strong technique while gaining valuable stage experience in a supportive, family-friendly environment.
Encore Performance Company
For dancers ready to grow, give back, and shine with heart.
This pathway is ideal for dancers who thrive on connection, challenge, and the joy of performing. Guided by nurturing teachers, your child will feel supported, confident, and proud of their growth, both on and off the stage.
Designed for students who are ready to take their training to the next level,
the Performance Company offers:
• Community performances and special events
• The annual Applause for a Cause fundraising showcase
• Opportunities for solos, duos, and selected troupe work
The focus is never on trophies, but on personal growth, teamwork, and the joy of sharing dance with others. Performance Company is an additional commitment alongside regular weekly classes, created for dancers who want to extend their skills and performance opportunities.
By invitation only, however, families are welcome to express interest if they feel their dancer is ready for a deeper,
more dedicated experience.

Performance Company Classes
$52 month each class / $12 week
Inclusions: Rehearsals, costume, tights, Company T-shirt, guest choreographers, competition entry fees.
Heart Beats Performance Company
For young dancers ready to share their joy and make a difference.
Heartbeats invites dancers aged 5 and up to perform in community events and the Applause for a Cause showcase, helping them discover the excitement of the stage and the joy of giving through dance.
It’s an inclusive, welcoming company perfect for those starting their performance journey, building confidence, and connecting with others through movement.
To take part, Heartbeats dancers attend two regular dance classes each week in addition to their weekly company rehearsal. This ensures they continue to develop strong technique while enjoying the thrill of performing.
Many Heartbeats dancers grow into the Performance Company as they develop their skills and passion.

Encore’s annual fundraising showcase brings all our dancers together to raise funds for Royal Perth Children’s Hospital, sharing their talents to make a real difference in the community. From our youngest Heartbeats performers to our Performance Company dancers, it’s a joyful celebration of connection, generosity, and the power of dance.

Heartbeats: For dancers aged 5+ who want to perform in community events, begin to experience the thrill of the competition stage and perform in the Applause for a Cause showcase. Open to all dancers, perfect for building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills.
Performance Company: For dancers ready to take their training to the next level. By invitation only, with opportunities for solos, duos, community performances, and competitions throughout the year. Focused on growth, connection, and using dance to give back.
2. Are these companies part of regular classes?
Both companies are in addition to regular weekly classes, so dancers continue developing strong technique while gaining valuable performance experience.
3. How many classes are required for Heartbeats dancers?
Heartbeats dancers attend at least two regular weekly dance classes in addition to their weekly company rehearsal.
4. How do I express interest in the Performance Company?
The Performance Company is by invitation, but families are welcome to email for company requirements and express interest if they feel their dancer is ready for this pathway.
8. Can younger or beginner dancers join the Performance Company?
Beginners and younger dancers are encouraged to join Heartbeats, which is designed as a stepping stone to the Performance Company when they are ready. If you are interested in a solo or Duo/Trio for your child please contact the office to ask about private lessons.
