Where are you located?
Classes take place at our studio in Midvale, WA, conveniently located for families from Midland, Bellevue, Swan View, Guilford, and surrounding suburbs. - 35 Elmsfields Rd Midvale WA
Can parents watch class?
Parents are welcome to stay while students settle in. Once children feel comfortable, we encourage independence so dancers can focus and get the most from their class.
What age can my child start?
We welcome all ages starting from age 2 in our Discover Dance program.
Am I required to perform?
Performing is encouraged but never required. Your child is welcome to simply enjoy classes and grow in confidence at their own pace. We do host a year end showcase each year for all students and have additional performance opportunities through our performance company programs.
How do I enrol?
Registration is easy and can be done now online. Simply create your account, choose your classes and add your payment details.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we encourage all students to be dressed in uniform for classes. Our full dress code can be found here
When can my child join?
Your child can join at any time! Classes are designed to be inclusive and welcoming for students starting throughout the year.

Why do I pay in January if classes don’t start until February?
Your fees are spread evenly over 12 monthly instalments to make budgeting easy. The January payment is simply the first instalment for Term 1 (January–March). This means you avoid having to pay a large lump sum when classes begin, everything is already taken care of in smaller, predictable payments.
How are payments structured?
Your child’s annual tuition is divided into 12 equal monthly payments, billed as follows:
• Term 1 – January, February, March
• Term 2 – April, May, June
• Term 3 – July, August, September
• Term 4 – October, November, December
Even during school holiday periods, payments continue as they are part of the full year’s instalments.
When is my monthly instalment due?
Monthly fees are due on the 15th of each month. For families enrolling after January 15th but before classes begin in February, the first payment will include the full January portion of Term 1.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes. A yearly registration fee of $50 per dancer applies. This fee covers administration, insurance, and your dancer’s enrolment for the year.
Do you offer refunds or credits for missed lessons?
Payments don’t just secure your child’s place in class they help make the whole experience possible. Each term’s fees support the things that keep your child’s classes running smoothly and joyfully, from teacher wages and studio facilities to class planning, music licensing, administration, and even the special studio events that make their time at Encore feel so memorable.
Because these costs continue regardless of attendance, refunds or credits aren’t available for missed classes. However, if your child is away, there may be an opportunity to attend a make-up class where space allows.
It’s all part of keeping things simple, consistent, and filled with the same level of care your family can always count on at Encore.
What if we join mid-year?
If your child joins partway through the year, class tuition will be adjusted so you only pay for the remaining weeks of the current term. All other inclusions such as costumes, concert extras, and awards still apply, and your payments will then be evenly spread across the remaining months.
What if we decide to cancel classes?
Life happens! If you need to cancel, simply give a written 30 day notice, all instalments owing up to the date of cancellation must be paid. There are no refunds for any unused inclusions.
