Musical Theatre at Encore Dance Company is a fun, energetic class where children from age 7 and up explore the magic
of singing, dancing and acting together.
Through vocal warm-ups, choreography and acting activities, students build confidence while bringing
stories and characters to life on stage.
Each class is a welcoming, creative space where imagination grows, friendships flourish and every
young performer is encouraged to shine.

Meet Miss Amber
Miss Amber Reid is a passionate performer and teacher that specialises in Vocal performance and Musical Theatre. With training from WAAPA, she has experience working across most musical genres and, notably, was on season 11 of The Voice Australia (Team Jessica Mauboy).
She is excited to join the Encore team and wishes to continue to expand her performance skills and share what she learns with her students.

What age group do you offer Musical Theatre classes for?
Classes are available for children ages 7 and up.
How do I know which class is right for my child?
If you're unsure, you can easily book a trial class to find the perfect fit for your child's interest and abilities.
Is there a dress code for classes?
For Musical Theatre, the focus is on confidence, character, and movement, so choose something comfortable and easy to move in. Activewear or dancewear is perfect, as long as your child feels free to express themselves and move with ease.
Do you offer concerts or performances?
Yes, we host an exciting end-of-year concert where all students can showcase what they've learned. We also offer troupe classes and private lessons for those interested in additional performance opportunities.
