Donna Rivé
MDE Associate Dip WAAPA (Dance) AAC1
Principal
Donna has been part of the dance world for most of her life.
After graduating from WAAPA with an Associate Diploma in Dance she went on to tour Asia and Australia for 4 years in cabaret style shows.
In 1991 life took her to the USA where she began her journey and found her passion as a teacher and choreographer, studying on scholarship at the Debbie Reynolds studio in LA and later accepted into membership to the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Donna was awarded her MDE (Master Dance Educator) certification in 1997.
She was a appointed to the Board of Directors for the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters in 2006 until leaving Chicago in 2017.
While teaching in the Chicago area, in 1993 Donna had the opportunity to open her own studio, sharing her passion with children from 3 years to adults in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Tap. Her students have gone onto major college dance programs, cruise ships, theme parks and regional dance companies, as well being successful on the competition circuit.
Donna has taught on faculty and adjudicated for both the Wisconsin Dance Masters and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, as well as being a regular guest choreographer for the Cathy Roe National Dance Spectacular. Donna travelled throughout the United States as a guest artist and choreographer, focusing on all styles of dance, she is a sought after teacher who loves to share her passion of dance with kids from all over the world.
With over 30 years of teaching experience she believes we are forever a student and continues to be inspired and pushed by the students and teachers she has the opportunity to work with.

Since returning to Perth, Donna has been enjoying teaching at studios in the area, as well as sharing her knowledge with the students she has the privilege of adjudicating on the competition stage.

Donna is excited to start this new adventure and continue to share with and inspire the students of Encore Dance Company in their dance journeys.
Musical Theatre
Miss Amber Reid is a passionate performer and teacher that specialises in Vocal performance and Musical Theatre. With training from WAAPA, she has experience working across most musical genres and, notably, was on season 11 of The Voice Australia (Team Jessica Mauboy). She is excited to join the Encore team and wishes to continue to expand her performance skills and share what she learns with her students.
